The subsidy that Zeeland Seaports receives for the MUP takes the form of a 50% subsidy scheme. This means that 50% comes from PATCH via Interreg VI-A and the partner itself must finance 50%.

In order to achieve this funding, ZSP managed to find four partners who were willing to make a contribution in the form of co-financing. These partners are:

  • Ministry of Economic Affairs
  • Province of Zeeland
  • Municipality of Terneuzen
  • N.V. Westerscheldetunnel

In total, a sum of €1 million is available for the MUP, half of which will thus be contributed by ZSP and the above partners.
